A Late Monday Post

Cupcake Cutie

Good Morning everyone

How quick has this week gone, It seems to have flown by for me. I have a little cutie to inspire you today.

I have used Cupcake kitty and coloured him with my promarkers. I have then picked some papers from my stash and matched the Die cut ovals with colours in the backing paper. I finished the card with some little pearls and buttons.

My papers are from my minds eye dreamy line.  I used a sentiment from stampin up birthday set.  My image is colored with copics.  I hope i have inspired you to create today.  Have a wonderful Friday.

A Little Reminder...

This week, Little Chickie, is coming to you to help remind you of the great things going on at 2CuteInk.  Each Tuesday all of the design team are showcased on the blog to show off the new image of the week.  Then throughout the week, you will also see various projects created with other digital stamps from 2CuteInk.  How awesome is that?

Little Chickie was printed on cardstock where I distressed the edges and mounted on red gingham cardstock.  I then added a 4" square of the background patterned paper to a 4 1/4" square cards {still fits in an A2 envelope}.  I didn't like just that on there so I added in an orange banner as well.  I cut it at 1 3/4" x 3 3/4".  Of course since it's a country chickie, I had to add some burlap twine to the top.

All of the paper that I used is from the My Minds Eye Everyday Flair 6x6 Paper Pad.  The digital stamp, Little Chickie, can be found in the 2CuteInk Shop with all the other great designs by Heidi!

New Digital Stamp "Little Owl"

I have another baby theme digital stamp to release today called "Little Owl".  I have been working on baby images ever since I found out my sister was pregnant with her second child.   My sister Heather just had her baby this past Saturday, so I am an auntie Heidi again!  :)  Baby Jason is his name and I can't wait to go seem him soon.  So to get you all inspired the 2 Cute Ink Dt has created some wonderful creations below!  Be sure to check out more digital stamps in my new 2 Cute Ink instant download digi shop!

A Little Monday Inspiration

Its Jenn here with some Monday inspiration. 

 I am always in need of boy cards.  Today I used The Cowboy Kid stamp for this simple yet fun card.  

The paper I used was some Martha Stewart paper I had gotten somewhere probably on clearance and the embellishments (not sure you would call them ribbon) I picked up at my local scrapbook store. 

 Short and sweet today I know, but the sun is shining and I'm sure there are weeds calling my name.

Sunday Inspiration

Hi everyone!  Just popping in with a quick card that features Up, Up & Away!  I used some old patterned paper that I had and a sentiment from Technique Tuesday.  The star was from a Fiskars punch and I doodled a bit around the edges.  The main image was colored with my Copics and cut out with my Nestabilities.  It's raining and dreary here in NY, but I hope everyone else is having a beautiful day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Little Monsters

Hi all, It's Saturday again and my turn to inspire you.

This week I have used Monster Mash and what a cutie it is. I have coloured the image with my promarkers which were picked to match my papers. The papers are from a christmas Dovecraft pack but shhh don't tell anyone. I have then added a sentiment that I typed myself and some little gems. This little card is off to my little monster cousin so I have made it into a pocket card with some Birthday Money added.

Kindergarter Turtle

Hi everyone Jan Farnworth here and welcome to my Friday inspiration post with 2 cute ink wonderful images. On my card this Friday i used Kindergarten turtle.  I think he makes a wonderful card to send to anyone who is getting ready to send a little one off to their first day of school or to cheer on that new kindergartener in your life.

I colored my image with copics and paired him with papers from echo park boys life line.  My sentiment is from unity stamp co school of rock stamp set.  Hope you have a great Friday make sure to stop back by and see what my other design team members have to inspire you with each day.

Thanks for coming today as I am sharing my second project created as a member of the 2CuteInk Design Team.

I have an adorable dachshund at home named Sookie who just had a puppy two weeks ago so I knew that Patches was right up my alley.

After coloring the image wtih my Copics I cut it down and rounded the corners and backed it on a lighter blue paper. I grabbed papers from one of my My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pads and kept adding layers.

I gave Patches a wet nose, shiny collar and heart by applying a bit of Glossy Accents.

To add a sentiment I decided to just use mini alpha stickers in black and pink. Of course it wouldn't be complete without some pen work on the edges of the pink background paper.

Wednesday Inspiration

Today's post isn't a card at all. I made a tag for a gift of chocolate sprinkle cookies I made for my bff's father, who recently had surgery. I was told he loves anything chocolate, so I baked, then packed them in a cute stack into a cello bag, tied the bag with a ribbon and made a tag using 2 Cute Ink's image, Owl Miss you. You can purchase this image here. My picture isn't perfect as I had only minutes before I had to run them to my friend who was leaving to deliver them for me. Digital stamps can be used to make so much more than cards! Create and have fun. Sandy

Cherryish The Day

Hi everyone,

This is my first creation for 2 Cute Ink and I have chosen the I Cherryish You  image. What a cutie it is and it was hard to chose from all the super cute images over at 2 Cute Ink. Please pop over and have a look.

I thought what better way to show off the image than to have it as the only coloured thing on the card. The image is colored with promarkers and backed onto White Hammer card. I have raided my stash for all things white and found doilies, lace, gems, buttons, bows, brads, flowers and pearls so they all went onto the card. I took inspiration from the image title and printed my own sentiment. I played around with the layout of this card for ages and finally decided on an easel card as it seems to show all the elements better than a standard card.

A Little Wednesday Inspiration

Good Morning everyone! Hope it is a beautiful sunny day where you are today. I made my card today using Penguin Doodle from 2 Cute Ink. You can purchase all 2 Cute Ink's images here. Who says orange and black is only for Halloween? I had this cute alphabet paper and thought it would make a cute notecard with this image. Since the Penguin is obviously black, I wanted to make him pop out more so I highlighted him with black paper too. The polka dot strip and ribbon adds texture and breaks up the background a bit. The image is colored with Copic Markers. Hope you all have a wonderful day! Sandy

Happy Easter Monday

I hope everyone had a super Easter and lots of great family time.  My card today features one of Heidi's newer releases called Cherry Love.  I hope you can pop over to the NEW 2 Cute Ink shop and take a look around, lots of super cute stuff.

I used some older Three Bugs paper I had and then paper pieced the cherries. I'm sorry to say the ribbon I have no idea, I kinda just hoard the stuff, he he.

New Piggie Dreams Digital Stamp!

I am happy to release "Piggie Dreams" digital stamp today in the NEW 2 Cute Ink digi shop!  What I like most about this shop is that all digital stamps are instant downloads!  I am just getting to know my way around godaddy's shopping cart so right now I only have 2 digital stamps listed.  My goal of course is to get all current digital stamps posted, and in the mean time I will still have my etsy shop open.  To get your creative juices flowing the DT created some cute inspiration below!

Wednesday Inspiration 4/4/12

Good Morning! On today's card I used 2 Cute Ink's image Baby Chickie and Easter Eggs. I colored the image with Copic Markers. The rainbow looking layer under, is a neat technique I just love! I used a glossy heavy card stock, a brayer and a multi-color ink pad. After it dried, I pulled out other card stock colors that matched the inks. Happy Monday

How was your weekend?  Hoping it was great, and not to many April fools jokes your way.  I know my boys had a blast, and I am kinda glad its over.

My card today features one of Heidi's new creation Birthday Dino Birthday.  I am always having trouble with birthday cards for boys, and with 3 boys it seems I am always (scrambling) making them.

I hope you will take a look around the Etsy shop, Heidi has been super busy adding some great images.
